Kristián Kuruc is a musician/drumer from Slovakia, who, at the moment, is mainly known on the music scene in Brno. He studied at JAMU (Jazz interpretation) and he is the holder of a lot of awards in Jazz section - New faces of Slovak jazz, Jazz fruit Praha. From the age of twelve he worked with a lot of famous figures of the Slovak jazz scene and later, he became the player of various musical groups, not only in the jazz genre. He is musician, player of different genres and styles - hip-hop, free jazz, avant-garde, rock, pop, word music...His biggest projects at the moment are - Ludo Kuruc Band, Heart of Dixie, Peter Korman Quintet, Lubo Gašpar cimbal project, Brunnwerk,Marek Kotača trio, Jirka Kotača/Alf Carlsson quartet and DCO.
